Relax and enjoy some coffee or tea and light snacks while your kids scamper. Mt. Pleasant Mom and Kid Yoga Teacher Dayna will lead the group with games and activities, allowing parents to relax or participate at will. Consider treating yourself to a 45-minute massage ($80). If you opt to spend time with one of our Advanced Massage Therapists, we'll take extra care of your kiddo until you return, refreshed.

Learn Infant Massage! A Workshop for Babies and the Adults Who Love Them
Winter Session: Tuesday Mornings: Jan 30, Feb. 6 & Feb. 13 from 10am-11:15am (3 weeks)
In this 3-part series, parents and caregivers learn infant massage techniques than can help babies with sleep regulation, self-soothing, colic, fussiness, digestion issues, meeting developmental milestones and more! Infant massage helps parents, too, by learning to read baby's cues, forming closer bonds, and supporting the psychological and emotional transitions associated with early parenthood.
This series covers basic massage strokes and treatment protocols, infant anatomy and physiology, common pediatric conditions and developmental challenges, and how massage can help. Parents and caregivers learn how positive and therapeutic touch enhances parent skills for babyhood, through toddlerhood, childhood, adolescence and beyond. Ayurvedic massage oil, instructional pamphlet, instructional videos and complimentary follow-up sessions included in registration fee. This three-part series meets Tuesday mornings from 10:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Cost is $125/family ($150 for twin families) for the series.
About the instructor: Elizabeth Shrader is a nationally-certified licensed massage therapist and certified infant massage instructor with a Masters in Public Health in maternal child health and development. She has taught infant massage to hundreds of new parents in her private practice, Mount Pleasant Massage Therapy, at The Well, and at the Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington, as well as in Spanish-language venues in Mexico, Central America and Peru. She draws on a wealth of professional and personal experience, having massaged her now-adult children throughout infancy and her deep knowledge of infant development, parent bonding, and the power of therapeutic touch. Thai Partner Massage: Self-Care for Couples and Friends

Looking for a unique Valentine's gift for that special someone? Interested in self-care techniques for stress management and pain relief? Want to learn a new skill to share with a friend? Then this half-day Thai massage workshop is for you!
In this four-hour workshop, Master Practitioner Astra Rooney will teach you a basic, full-body Thai massage sequence to connect with and nourish your partner. Starting with basic principles of Thai massage and the incredible benefits of touch therapy, she will explore the sequence in a fun, easy-to-understand way. At the end of the workshop, each partner will receive the full-body massage uninterrupted, followed by sweet (but healthy) treats!
To create an intimate environment for learning and sharing, the workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 couples. Cost is $150 per couple.
Men's Yoga & Meditation
Every Monday and Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Men's Yoga Community (MYC) offers weekly men’s yoga and meditation at The Well. Instructor Brad Lyon and guest teachers lead an all-levels class, appropriate for both novices and experienced practitioners. Yoga mats and blocks are available at the studio. RSVP required as class is limited to 6 people.
Cost: Suggested donation $15 (at the door, or Venmo)
